Chris Kerl has been racing since 1995. He started in the “Thunder stock class” at Lincoln Park Speedway. Best finishes in that class were 5^th, 6^th, and 8^th in features and placing 13^th in total points for the season. In 2001 Chris moved to the UMP Modified class. Best finishes for 2001 were 5^th, 8^th, and 10^th in features and finished 24^th in total point for the season. In 2002 Chris received rookie of the year and finished 17th in total points. In 2003 Chris finished 21st in points. In 2004 we took off all but 2 races to build a new shop and do home repairs. The 2005 season was a great success. The 2006 season was fun and very competitive. Running a leaf car against all the bar cars was fun. 2007 brought many changes for CC RACING as Dad helped fund the ability to obtain a bar car. Chris finished 8th at LPS the first night out in the ROCKET by Kramer bar car. He continued to make every Feature at LPS and Brownstown until the motor blew on 7-7-07. Chris works on the car himself and his wife helps in the pits.
